John B. Moore, IV, MD, FACS

John B. Moore, IV, MD, FACS, graduated from medical school and his plastic surgery residency at SIU School of Medicine in 1983 followed by a hand surgery fellowship through the University of New Mexico. His academic career started the next year as Chief of Hand Surgery at Kansas University School of Medicine and Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Kansas City VA Hospital. This was followed by faculty appointments at the University of Indiana and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He returned to the Kansas City area to start Premier Plastic Surgery and the Hand Center of Kansas, as well innovate the Midwest Migraine Surgery Center as part of his participation as a founder of the Migraine Surgery Society.

He renewed his association with KU Medical Center as clinical assistant professor, began training their plastic surgery residents in hand surgery and migraine surgery, and has been taking are of migraine patients in the Midwest for the past nineteen years and practicing the whole-body approach of plastic surgery practiced at the SIU program.
